Detective Sergeant Sally Donovan is one of them.

Some Slayers join the fight; some pursue their own lives and plans. Some get to do both. Sally is a copper, like she always wanted to be. She's also an unofficial (very unofficial) intermediary between the New Scotland Yard and the Watcher's Council (v. 2.0), because even with the influx of Slayers all those years ago, there are still plenty of things in London the human police can't handle on their own.
